  Outstanding dinner.
  Both pasta dishes were delicious. We were fighting over each dish. (Raccoons fighting over dinner...apologies to our fellow diners).
  
  Service was attentive and friendly. the celeb spotting was a nice bonus!
  The tables are quite close but it isn't a drawback in such an enjoyable venue!

  Came here for me and my boyfriends anniversary dinner.we ordered just dinner, no apps. My bf got wine. It was a super cute spot and the food was AMAZING. I got the steak and it was sp juicy and soft, melted in my mouth!
  The only reason I took one star off is because they literally asked EVERYONE else if they wanted dessert, except us.... idk if it was because we didnt order appetizers or anything, but me and my boyfriend were looking so forward to getting some dessert. Once we finished, they just brought our check and dipped. Kinda hurt my feelings but whatever lol.
  They have cute candles on the table and they start you off with some DELICIOUS bread. It was seriously so good.
  
  Parking: I believe they have valet. Dont know how street parking is.
  
  Could potentially come back!

  Given we were staying nearby we decided to try out Barrique after glancing at their menu. Going in I had high expectations which might have driven my ratings a bit.
  
  We started with the octopus, ahi tuna, and the duck prosciutto. The ahi tuna was the clear winner for me, the others were still good. For the main dishes dishes we went with the lobster black ink pasta and the sea bass. Both were just ok although the pasta was the better dish.
  
  Overall just an ok place nothing really stand out from the dishes we ordered.

  Octopus: 7/10
  Ahi tuna: 8.5/10
  Duck prosciutto: 8/10
  Sea bass: 6.5/10
  Lobster black ink pasta: 8/10

  TLDR: some decent dishes, terrible service (as mentioned in a number of other reviews), not good for big groups
  
  15 person dinner here tonight for my friend's birthday
  i was excited to try this spot based on the reviews
  but was sorely disappointed
  
  the competition for good italian in SanMo is fierce
  so to survive (and more importantly, to thrive)
  you have to have impeccable food AND service
  
  our waiter (tall, thin, bald) was horrendous
  I literally saw him write down order but
  he failed to convey it to the kitchen
  so 3/6 of the pastas we ordered never came
  
  when we mentioned it, he had the audacity
  to angrily blame our party for not telling him
  what?! isnt this YOUR JOB?
  he even used the excuse that our party was "so big" that it was "too confusing"
  
  If you get frazzled and can't handle a 15-person party
  You probably shouldn't be in the restaurant biz
  his tone and attitude left us all shocked, embarrassed, and upset
  he never apologized nor did he offer to make things right
  
  objectively the food was 3/5
  the black label prosciutto was fine but not special
  the grilled octopus was pretty good
  the beet pasta was interesting but a tad overcooked
  the boar pasta was a bit too heavy for my taste
  
  given our terrible experience
  i would never recommend this place to anyone
  and would absolutely take my money and business elsewhere

  Get the beet pasta!!!
  We got: watercress salad, prosciutto and burrata, duck breast, beet pasta, and pistachio cluster and port gelato.
  The watercress salad was really good, all the ingredients were fresh and it was light and perfect.
  Duck had amazing flavor, but wish the meat was less fatty.
  Beet pasta was def really amazing you can not go wrong. It wasnt too rich, but it was tasty!
  The dessert was ok.
